You’ve probably heard by now that the legend known as Michael Jackson has died. He was our generation’s Elvis Presley. The world mourned him and for a moment, he stopped the internet. That’s how awesome he was.

Here’s a selection of stuff stolen from the web. All tributes to the man the with the moves.

Mental floss writes up a few interesting facts about his life.

Apparently MJ is to be plastinated and placed next to his pet Bubbles at the O2.

Remember the inmates who all danced to Thriller? Here’s the send off.

A clip of AMAZING performers that clearly inspired MJ’s crazy moves.

MJ patented a shoe design that enabled him to lean the 45º for the Smooth Criminal Dance!

OMG! MJ is a gamer.

MJ likes what he looks like and doesn’t have to change at all. Somewhat ironic in hindsight, but I have to say the backdrops are stunning!

Concept product from a fan to Pepsi? What do you say? Do we like?

We didn’t experience Elvis’ death which was such a huge thing for our parents’ generation. You know how when Elvis died they said you’d always remember where you were and what you were doing when the news broke? I suppose it’s the same for MJ and this generation. I’ll always remember that day.
